On the grounds of the National Infantry Museum, overlooking the parade field, where the land has been seeded with the sacred soil of battlefields past and present – memorials and Legacy Trees line the Memorial Walk of Honor.
Featured on the walk are monuments placed by military units and associations. Some have been built on-site; others have been moved to this beautiful location. The Memorial Walk of Honor serves as a place for quiet reflection and for honoring Soldiers for their service.
A limited number of large, healthy maple trees have also been planted along the walk. As monument dedications, Legacy Trees promote healing for families and friends and serve as a living tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Your donation of $5,000 includes a bronze marker at the base of your tree, engraved with a personal message. A private dedication ceremony will be presented to your family and friends at your convenience.
